Join us at library events!

Joining library events is a great way to brighten up your day, find inspiration and meet others. We have many events and activities for you to choose from.

Read a Little Aloud (adult story time)

Do you enjoy being read to? then come along and revel in an hour of eclectic readings set around a theme. The readers weave in humour, life experiences, local history, and lifestyle through the use of challenging views, inspiring narrative, beautiful prose, and uplifting poetry.

Some of the themes we've read on include: children’s literature, books that make you smile, Shakespeare's women, storytelling, love, and nature

For more information, please visit the Read a Little Aloud webpage.

Engage

Engage is a programme of online talks and demonstrations with a guest speaker followed by Q&A. Join the audience and explore a variety of topics ranging from Antarctica, to Authors to Art & Crafts, to Antiquities and more.

The Library Presents

The Library Presents is a programme of arts activities, online and in locations around Cambridgeshire. There is something for all ages across a range of art forms including music, drama, art, dance, storytelling, comedy, puppetry, magic, animation and digital arts.
