Our vision for Cambridgeshire
Cambridgeshire County Council is committed to:
"Creating a greener, fairer and more caring Cambridgeshire"
We will work closer to our communities, partners and residents to deliver this vision through our seven ambitions (Cambridgeshire CMIS website).
Our 2024 Quality of Life Survey, which engaged over 5,500 residents evenly spread across the county, has given us a strong evidence base to understand residents’ priorities.
As we develop our plan for our future spending and savings, we want to hear your views on
- Council Tax
- reductions in spending across our service areas
- how we could increase our income or make further savings.
Therefore, we are conducting two surveys between November 2024 and January 2025 so your views can help inform decision-making about our next Business Plan, which sets out our budget decisions for the next five financial years.
Phase 1 was an Engagement Survey that sought your views on how we should prioritise our spending and savings decisions. Phase 2 will be a Consultation Survey that seeks your views on the spending and savings proposals in our draft Business Plan for 2025-26 to 2029-30.
