What is Street Tag?
Street Tag is a free smart phone app that turns your community into a virtual playground.
The app can be downloaded from the App Store for IOS and Google Play for Android.
Collect virtual tags by walking, running, cycling or wheeling around your neighbourhood.

Why you should Tag
Street Tag is a great way to get active. Get fit and healthy while exploring your local area. Be part of a community and have fun.
You can collect tags all throughout the year but at certain times, called seasons, your collected tags earn points. And points make prizes!
Details of our first season in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, and how you can get involved are further down this page.
How it works
Once you have downloaded the app, you will see yellow tags to be collected on your local area map. There are virtual tags all around, including parks, playgrounds and libraries.
As you move around through the locations, your app will automatically collect the tag and points. Collected tags turn green on the map.
Virtual tags are automatically collected when you are in a 40m radius of a tag, and your app location service settings are on.
Turn on ‘scan in background mode’ if you want to collect tags without having the app open while you walk, run or wheel around.
You can even collect tags offline without using data. Simply sync all your tags later within 24hrs.
Street Tag FAQ is full of app settings advice and information on how to integrate with fitness devices.
During competition seasons, there will be lots of challenges and chances to get bonus points.
